Drawing is an extension of my material-based practice.
I am interested in exploring ideas of time, duration and physicality as a means of understanding the world around us.
The work often evolves through very simple repetitive actions, which push the boundaries of my own body, both physically and mentally. They are not gestural marks, but the essential marks of concentrated effort and labour.
